Term 1: I have sucessfully attained an A1 which is better than I expected. I believe that I was able to achieve such an excellent grade was because my teacher had made the lessons very interesting to listen and pay attention to. Another reason would be that I have the determination and perseverance which are qualities of a fine scientist, therefore I studied very hard and was able to achieve A1. I feel that the way of learning science in secondary school and primary school is completely different. Now we are able to conduct experiments almost every single week in one out ten science laboratories which are available to our usage. I will definitely continue and maintain such a magnificent grade throughout the entire year.

Term 2: This term something unexpected has happened. To my surprise, I scored 18 out of 40 for my science test this term, which was way below what I had expected to score and I had not expected to fail. The reasons for me getting such a poor grade in science is because I had studied the wrong subject and was not attentive in class. I was way over my head and thought that I would be able to attain the same grade with just minimal revision. I was too proud of myself and that led to my final downfall, meaning failing science in this case. I vow that I will work hard for next term and I will be able to get a marvellous grade so as to pull my overall grade up.

Term 3: Now I am humble and have achieved an A2 which was my targeted grade. I owe my teacher Mrs. Chu a big thank you as she took time out of her busy schedule to conduct science remedial for those that had failed. If it were not for her help I would not be able to achieve my targeted grade and would have probably scored even worse. I will not rest on my laurels the next time and I will coninue to work hard for the end-of-year examinations. I hope that all my hard work would not go down the drain and I will be able to pass with flying colours.
